Built Different

About the Greenville Hurricanes Football Program

The Greenville Hurricanes football program exists to develop young men through competition, discipline, faith and teamwork. As part of the Greenville Hurricanes Athletics organization, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, we provide football opportunities for homeschool, private, Christian and alternative education students across the Upstate.

On the field, the Hurricanes continue to build a championship culture. In the 2025 season, Greenville finished 9–3 and captured the conference championship. The Canes averaged 29 points per game offensively while allowing just 11 points per game defensively, demonstrating a balanced, physical brand of football on both sides of the ball.

Beyond wins and championships, our mission is development. The Hurricanes have sent multiple players on to compete at the college level, reflecting our commitment to preparing athletes not only for Friday nights, but for the next level and for life. Our coaches emphasize character, accountability and leadership just as strongly as fundamentals and scheme.

Whether you are new to the program or striving for another championship run, being a Hurricane means competing with purpose and representing something bigger than yourself.

We believe in something bigger than football

  • We're strong, He's stronger

We believe that every day we put in work to get stronger, and that work is amplified through our Lord Jesus Christ.

"I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me" - Philippians 4:13

  • Discipline is Key

Our athletes come from all over the Greenville area, not tied to a single institution. Innately, this requires greater discipline for togetherness.

"Do you not know that in a race all the runners run, but only one receives the prize? So run that you may obtain it. Every athlete exercises self-control in all things" - 1 Corinthians 9:24-27

  • Meekness not Weakness

Our organization is determined to stay fierce competitors, while upholding the highest degree of integrity, fairness and good sportsmanship.

"An athlete is not crowned unless he competes according to the rules" - 2 Timothy 2:5
